Actually, it was really amusing. Gawker recently posted to Ryan asking him to put his videos back up on YouTube. That they missed them. Too funny.

I agree with fwj about the fairy tale themes and 'messages' to women and girls. For me, with Disney movies, I've had issues more about the violence or the black and white portrayals of people. there's always the outright good guy and characters and the outright bad one or ones. and the good guys can do almost anything and very mean, but it's ok cuz they're the good guys. and vice versa. in real life I don't think people are always or usually like that. me and my son used to discuss this quite frequently when he was little and we'd go see those movies. I found some of em quite dark and almost even slightly disturbing.

Did you guys see that Parker Posey has a new show Friday nights on Fox? I hope it's good, although I worry about any show on Fox (although 24 ain't bad and it's on Fox). Wish it was on HBO, though -- they have truly fabulous t.v. series.
