ya, about the futuristic thing. when I first arrived in SF, I felt almost like I was in The Jetsons tv show! just the way the transit was from the airport...seemed very futuristic. did like how bus stops told you exactly how long you had to wait for the bus tho.

too bad she didn't ask Ryan to rate his ass.

I still can't believe Ryan wore that awful red tie at Fashion Week. It's hugely ugly -- I'm sorry. I guess he's trying to look like a "surreal character" and he's sure pulling that off. I know he likes those weird Tom Petty videos from the 1980s, the ones that were sort of Alice in Wonderlandish. Well, Ryan would fit right into one of those videos in that get-up.

I don't get the feeling that Ryan is with someone else, and if he was it was just as a friend. He seemed very much "on his own" in all the photos I saw; even the one of him sitting with Kim Gordon.

Ryan's arms *are* nice. Good musculature without being overly done. Makes me wonder if he works out with dumbell weights at home to keep his arms so nice and toned.

I give Ryan's arms a 9, too. His hair, I'll give a 5. He really needs a layered cut; that one he has now is so floppy.

I'm sorry you've lost respect for him over it. I think it's made me a little intrigued -- yet another aspect of Ryan that I hadn't quite expected. He always surprised me, that's why I stay interested I suppose.

Honestly, the picture of the outfit they show immediately after Ryan makes the blade-runner comment made me laugh so hard.

I think Ryan just appreciates the Arts in all it's forms.

I disagree. I don't respect him less for being there, tho it did surprise me a bit. couldn't help wonder, tho, if he was there for the fashion, cuz he's interested in it...or to hopefully see Jessica, maybe.

I've loved fashion since I was a teen. Betsey Johnson being an idol and creative hero. so I don't think of fashion necessarily as bad or shallow.

(anyways, if you see it as it's 'all' just costumes.....it's a way of lookin at it...things. I remember once Gene Simmons saying that. I tend to agree with that.)

great, ryan is into fashion. i wonder how many people will jump on that bandwagon...just like the "sober" ryan phase. a surge of "i quit drinking" went up.
