A WEIRD movie about traveling all the way from Oklahoma to Tucson Arizona.
Gawker posted some stuff bout SAD DAYS. i thought the clouds and stuff were a metaphor for that feeling of being lost after someone you know every day for over two years just goes away. whatev....my movies are made knowing they are pretty crappy. im trying.

I am 33 years old. Partially deaf. I have panic attacks and i am neurotic but i have been sober and trying to be something between a dreamer and a good person all my life. Even when I used it was mainly to play music longer. I don't feel like that anymore though. It just passed.
So I make movies now in my spare time. I take photos and make more art ( i like to make big paintings, its my FIRST real passion).
I have trouble making friends and letting people in from being so isolated for so long doing music because people really tear you apart in that business. life is sweet though. I am taking it day by day and I am so so so emotional so the world feels raw to me.
these films are a way of trying to get at that, and embarrass myself and express that very thing.
i hope you are okay wherever you are.

that's funny about the emotional thing. I was thinking that the other day. some people here were dissing him or his reaction and response to recent breakup and heartbreak. I thought....well he's a very emotional person! the same people dissing prob aren't that artistic. (or maybe they are) I think some people are just that way...they feel everything intensely. and often end up making art cuz they need an outlet, for one thing.

but anyways, just think of the 'contribution' he is making...to so many people. artistically, culturally, etc. So he's intense...so what?! good thing he has such a great sense of humour too.

ps: isn't there a new song that's something about being "ok"? cuz I thought it was funny on one post today, it said the OK show. and I read that as the word ok, not Oklama abbreviation.

This makes me wonder about reactions from both ryan and fans during the shows this tour... what the connection will be like, or, will there be one?

Whenever I see an artist whose "work" hits a chord within and resonates inside, I just wonder if the artist gets that feeling back while they work. Because I feel like whatever is going on is bigger than me, it gets so big and just radiates outward. If Ryan receives that message from the crowd, that's some powerful business right there. Strangers sharing a room, mirroring emotions while the music goes on right before our very eyes.

I guess we should look at all this as Ryan "sharing" with his fans, but part of me worries that he likes to have his ass kissed daily. So he posts a vid and gets all those "beautiful", "Keep it up" etc comments (probably those RAA weenies).

That video was funny as hell. I lost it at the part where he just screams "ohhhhhhh yeaaahhhhh" into that little kid microphone with the weird effect.

I guess I can think of worse things to do with all that spare time than coming up with goofy videos and posting them. If these (and maybe a little writer's block her and there) are the only byproducts of sobriety, then bring it on.
