Just got back, that place has the best fucking acoustics of any place I've been in New York. RA and the Cards were awesome, just kept hitting 'em out of the park. I hope to shit somebody got a tape of that one.

phenomenal. the best acoustics i have ever heard at a RA show. too bad some douchebag woman had to shout out "wonderwall" just before one of the final songs. i thought we were gonna go the full round without any annoying song requests.

Y'know, I Like to have meself a pop or two and don't find anything wrong with shouting out requests... As far as I'm concerned its par for the course.

hhahahah, that wonderwall babe is gonna go down in infamy. too funny. oh well. it's hard to throw a no-hitter, but us the crowd will settle for the one-hitter.

but shit man, RA and the Cards threw a damn near perfect game. GREAT GREAT GREAT SHOW.

the band is stellar and adams seemingly put EVERYTHING into the vocals. you should have heard this shit. unreal. highlights had to be blue hotel and dear john for me. let it ride was damn good (one of my faves and first time hearing it live) as were i see monsters and winding wheel.

and oh, fuck, the sun also sets leading off was incredible.

gotta note casal's solo on dear john. amazing stuff. graboff and the rest were also great all night.

ryan was quite the jester tonight too. talked and joked around pretty much between every song. my favorite was when he started talking about how he respected ice t, the actor/musician. then he asked out loud what movies he had been in, and neal replied "anaconda" ... this prompted a funny exchange about it actually being ice cube in that movie ... then people started yelling out ice t movies like new jack city, and i guess the wonderwall girl got confused because this was when she shouted out her request.


ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, what a fucking great night.

oh, and the band intro was great touch. never saw one of those before at my two prior shows.

also, brad came up behind us before the show when we were all waiting on line. the girls behind me spotted him and one was like "BRAD!" and he looked back and wave. seems like a rad dude. they all do, really.

HA! wonderwall babe! that was special. i loved he dedicated the show/song to ice-t. AND he had them play def leppard before the show!

and i loved the cards tonight. they were as packed as we were on that stage and there was a great energy with them tight like that. wow. i'm being redundant, but wow.
