The Jerk is still of my favorite movies of all time...

When I was growing up the first version of the Jerk I owned was a VHS recording from the edited version that aired on TV. There was so much they had to edit out that they used alternate scenes for the broadcasts. I haven't seen these scenes in years. I have been searching for the airplane seats charity scene (6:21 in the clip)for such a long time.

Huge fan of the Jerk here, I had no idea there were edited scenes. My favorite part is where he was naked and kept picking up dogs along the way to cover himself.

I also loved how he licked the girl up her face and eye. I did that to some guy one time and he loved me bc he knew I was "referencing" the jerk.

My favorite comedy of all time. I laugh just thinking about scenes. Bernadette Peters' trumpet solo cracks me up.

Grew up watching the Jerk, my mom loves it. Haven't seen it in years but we still quote that scene where he's moving out and saying, "And this is all I need." That and the dog named Shithead were the best.

I been to Texas. Played in Houston, Austin and Dallas. Been from Sulphur Springs to Odessa. My brother was born in Laredo. My Aunt lives in College Park. Not sure there is a part of that state worth visiting that I have not done yet.

Though I guess I missed South Padre Island.

So maybe I know not of what I speak.
