If my dickhole was producing yeast and the only treatment I had was to shove my penis into a warm moist medicinal enclosure, my girlfriend would wonder why I chose the week-long treatment instead of the one time insertion.

With 1, you only have one shot at clearing it up. It may or may not work. With 7, its a slower process, but it will definately clear it up.
That is just what I have always assumed.
