You don't understand. Height and weight are relative. Im not saying you're fatter than me. Whats possible is I'm not that much fatter than you.

Let me explain: A person can be 165 lbs and 12% body fat. Another person can be 220 lbs and 25% body fat. Who is thinner? Well in reality, its the person who is 220 lbs. Because 25% of 220 is a lot less than 12% of 165. Im not even good at math, but thats how it works. My waist size is currently 35 inches at 227 lbs. Your waist size is 32 inches at 160 lbs or so? So lets figure that out. I weigh a lot more than you- yet my waist size is only 3 inches bigger.

So you can call me obese all you want, but you need to figure out your body fat percentage- not just your weight. My body fat is currently 23%. I had it measured. I am 227 lbs . So I don't need to weigh 165 lbs to be a normal body fat. I could probably get down to 195 lbs or so- but I don't think I would need to get lower than that. Also I am closer to 5'11 than 5'10, so we are basically the same height.

No one in my family is overweight, except myself. My psychologist thinks it has something to do with my mother dying when I was a young boy and looking to food to fill a void in my life I just say it was too much carbs growing up, and never learning about proper nutrition.

Um, I'm not sure you understand, but I do plenty of the cardio already. I am improving my diet daily, and have cut back on my sugar and sodium intake. I have lost weight, so it appears to be working. Also, I am not at a high risk for heart disease. I have had my heart tested. Also my resting pulse is as low as 48 BMP and my blood pressure is usually around 110/70. My cholestoral is at the high end of normal range- that can be improved by limiting my intake of animal fats.

The weight in my chest is part muscle, and part loose skin. Empty fat cells also retain water. When I continue to put on muscle the loose skin will go back into place, creatin' the well proportioned pectorial development.

Let me preface...I'm an engineer, so I'm pretty good with numbers. I'm curious as to how they learn you 'rithmetic in RVA. Let's do some simple math hear, tubby. 25% of 220 lbs is 55 lbs. 12% of 165 lbs is 19.8 lbs. I'll give you one more guess on who is "thinner". I think your 55 lbs of blubber is covering up your "muscle definition".

You may squeeze into a size 35, but you probably need to put that "svelte" figure of yours into a size 36 or 38 for your clothes to fit properly. Last time I checked, the belt area of your jeans is not supposed to fold over from your gut...errrr, I mean muscle.

No, my actual waist size is 35 inches. I can actually "squeeze" into a size 32 slacks. But Im talking about my actual measurement, not the size jeans I wear. The jeans fold over because I have loose skin. My Dr. recommended surgery, but I feel that If I just lose about 30 more lbs and tone up in that area, the loose skin should go back into place.

When I gave you those estimates, I wasn't talking about me specifically , either. You may be flabby at 165 lbs, but that doesnt mean you need to lose more weight- it means you need to lose more fat. It also doesn't mean that I have to get down to 165 lbs to be a low body fat either. Do you even lift weights?

And its very plausible to be 5'11 and 210 lbs and not obese or overtly muscular either, but within a normal body fat range. Very possible. You can tell by my face also. Its more impressive to weigh 210 lbs and have a body fat percentage of 15% than be 185 lbs and have a body fat percentage of 12%. Muscle weighs more than fat. That being said, I really would prefer to be 190 lbs. I think I would be pretty lean in that range.
