snagged this myself...but then also snagged the 'leak' that's out there...and the leak is over 2gigs. this is only 1 gig. the leak has much better mp3 quality (320). this is VBR quality. also, the leak has more tracks.

The leak has 218 tracks, which is everything including the bonus tracks.

Still, despite my sadness over not being able to Photoshop anything, I highly doubt it has anything to do with posting pictures that were readily available elsewhere. I just don't see it. Also, those pictures of the tracklisting weren't even taken down, if I remember correctly. I think it's more of a bandwidth-saving technique.

I don't understand any of this html getting axed bollocks, or what the implications are of that...

My thoughts have always been bandwidth expense and maybe less need for monitoring.

Amazon without the fuck up is $8.99 each set. ITunes is $7.99 each set. ITunes is likely better quality. Amazon is too good to turn down and if one gets the $8.99 low quality download, ITunes matches and feeds it back to you at the best quality they have. Gotta love it.

My download was slower than others last night and I realized that because as mine were downloading they were also music matching with my cloud service.

Yes Joost, it absolutely is true. I have posted about it before. I'll try and simplify it for you.

If iTunes had it they have it at what they have it at. Now it's a certain bit minimum, whatever. If you participate in the $25 per year music match and they constantly scan for anything new you put in iTunes from amazon, minidisc, LP, cassett, cd whatever then the scan sees it and says "I don't need to upload it". Just served what they have at the bit rate whatever. Much has been written about this and it is one of the cool features. So like 128 bit is all you got. They don't care. They serve you 320 bit. Got it?

You'd have to pay me to listen to this. Still don't understan why anyone would be willing to part with their hard earned cash for it. Unbelievable. You know he's taking the piss, right?

I always thought iTunes only serves you m4a, and that m4a only goes up to 256 bit.

Mind you, I never really looked into all these details, FREE FREE FREE is all I care about.

Not that it matters, I don't own a any IOS devices.

I'm not pushing. I'm just more impressed with music match than anything in a long while. I like that new thermostat called the "nest". Fucking cool. Love my new d800 Nikon as well. My favorite photographer uses Canon though. Like Google Drive a lot too.

Haven't got one of those either. I do all my downloading on other people's computers, synch it to my mp3 player and/or burn it on a cd-rom.

Gonna get my own soon though. A cheap one, so I doubt it will be an Apple.

Dougo, I think that would be the dude that made that app called "best camera app". He had a promo vid tgat came with the app. I think he's right on as the best camera is the one you have with you. I could carry that further and say the best camera is the one that you can get to work. I took a class that had very very expensive cooled ccd Hamamatsu Cameras for imaging low light subjugate thru microscopes. They often had trouble getting them to work at all and they are software driven. I could hook my ancient cool pix 990 3 MP non cooled can to the eyepiece and get good images. 100% better than the non images. Speaking of microscopes, some MIT dudes made a $2 app a few years ago called iMicroscope and it kicks all kinds of ass. We have some NIS Elements Nikon software that is damn near worthless for stitching and z stacking. Gotta call Nikon tomorrow. Thanks for reminder.
