The Live After Deaf box set release has been handled pretty poorly almost every step of the way. We all know how the initial sale went. Now I actually got my box set yesterday but was unable to download the digital files. It's one, huge fucking file at 2.0 GB. It failed to download my first attempt. I gave it another try last night. I woke up this morning to see the zip file in my downloads. I go to extract the files only to get an error. The fucking folder is empty. When I tried to download it a 3rd time I get a red message saying my download code is expired or invalid. I'm seriuosly annoyed right now. I've sent an email to Furnace MFG (they're handling the digital download card shit) but have not received a response. I get the feeling I'm gonna be shit out of luck. Did anyone else have any issues with the digital download? I'm really kind of pissed. There's a good chance I'll have to illegally download something I actually shelled out $168 (after shipping) for. Another great experience with Pax-Am.

I know I'll get it eventually. But, I actually paid for the damn thing. It shouldn't be this hard. I've already googled to find a download in the event I can't get the download that's part of the box set I received. Came up empty but it just came out. So I'm not too worried. It's just frustrating as I was actually pretty excited to get the damn thing to begin with.

Just buy most of it again from iTunes. It should download fine from there.

JK, be glad you even got a box. They will get your download fixed I'm guessing. Thousands of us who logged on both days did not get a box. I made the choice to help someone with car troubles and ended up trying from wifi at home and missed out. I understand your frustration as there were lots of fuck ups but you got one. What, like 1 of 500 that thousands wanted.

It's just the MP3s though. So, your options are 120 something through iTunes, individual songs on Amazon for .99 a piece or the entire thing for 8.99 US. Pretty hilarious.

This has become quite the comedy of errors. I actually bought the digital box at Amazon this morning for $8.99 just in case I'm not able to get the digital stuff that came with the vinyl box.

With any luck someone will share the "exclusive" digital bonus tracks that were for the vinyl set. Furnace MFG sent me another digital download code. But, I suspect I'm gonna have problems. I can only get DSL where I live, no high speed cable modem (Thank god I'm a country boy!!). I think my internet speed is like 2mbps. I don't think I'm gonna be able to download that 2GB digital file without any problems. But, I'll give it another go.

Send me the code. I will download and then send you all the songs on a thumb drive tgat I will purchase and give you.

I have all of the 'exclusive' bonus tracks right now (218 tracks in total) from a torrent on What.cd. Would uploading the individual albums, complete with bonus tracks, as separate rar files be beneficial to anyone? The files wouldn't be nearly as big and you guys could love me.

So much for the new download code they sent me. It doesn't work either. When I enter the new code all I get is "invalid or expired code" again. I can't even begin the download. Perhaps, I'm just not supposed to have those 74 bonus tracks. Bummer.

IT is bullshit that they give you a download card to digitally own the music you just bought, only for it not to work. I don't understand how that can be that hard. I went to an amusement park three weeks ago and was able to purchase the picture of my nephew and me on the Filipino Fallopian Tube Flume Ride just last night.

Thanks for asking. Yes, I finally got a download that worked. The girl from Furnace MFG sent me an email with a direct download link that worked. It took almost 2 hours for the download to complete. But, it finished & it looks like it's all there. However, my download has 219 tracks & I thought there was supposed to be 218 tracks according Pax-Am. Not sure what the extra track is. Maybe there's a duplicate track in one of the show files. Anyhow... my frustration was well worth it. What's I've heard so far sounds pretty, fuckin' great!!
