Is anyone interested in trying to do another .Org book club?
The book is:
Life by Keith Richards
Discussion starts in 2-3 weeks.

The film club takes up my Org time quite a bit, but I'd love to see what titles your club suggests.

They have the Keef book at my library with a long hold list but I might be able to get it from outside the system.
Anyone else want to read it?

I am reading Life. I might even contribute to a discussion about the book but I wont be done anytime soon. Give me a "read by" date to aim for and then you can bump the target 16 times like they do for the Film Club and I will be good to go.

I'm starting Keef's book as soon as I finish Wise Blood by Flannery O'Connor.

I'm honored that sara reads the film club threads. I wish the book club well. Organizing this bunch of degenerates is not easy.

Jenny, I love the Film Club threads. They are always 500x more interesting than what I should be reading (work related). I even fantasize about watching a Film Club selection.... It is no secret that I am technologically challenged. I couldnt stream anything unless somebody was sitting here holding my hand. And I only like movies in a theatre. Not on tv and not on a computer. Lastly, I dont know diddly about Netflix. So I will wait for the FC to pick something that is in a video store.

Yes! Keith Richards (of the Rolling Stones - they're a British group) wrote a book. Sometimes people refer to him as "Keef" because of the way the lead singer, Mick Jagger, pronounced his name.
