This community, if it is to be alive, needs to offer every sort of message board experience to its members--friendship, shared interests, education, and of course, flame wars, fighting and trolling. It is to the benefit of the community to be able to focus much of that on one member, rather than have fractious groups appear and wrestle for dominance of the board and its agenda, whatever that actually may be.

So I forgive her, for she knows not what she does (around here). I engage her when I feel the need, and give her hell when that seems right too. But I admire the way she continually gets shoved in the mud (deserved at the time or not) and gets back up to play again and again.

This is true. I see nothing wrong with keef banning her based on this and numerous past offenses.

Of course, judging by the guidelines most of us deserve to be banned too. It's never been said that the .org is a bastion of fairness. If you're dissapointed by this, what it really means is that you're just not trying hard enough. Take it to kjoy levels, and you too can be banned!

Secondly; IMO, I don't think kjo should have been temp banned for being annoying. While she could be a bit much I think it only was allowed to happen because so many people fanned the flame with her. I chose to ignore a lot of what she said and would say I had a relatively peaceful interaction with her.
