my first time seeing Ryan live and wow, what a way to get into it.

About half was new stuff, absolutely gorgeous, sad and beautiful. The rest included (I'm shit at setlists...) Kiss Before I Go, Strawberry Wine, Winding Wheel, Cold Roses (closer), Sweet Lil Gal...

Ryan and Neal seemed to be on really great form tonight. And the venue was freaking TINY, couldn't believe it. Wow.

...yeah, i'll be more articulate when I've showered/slept. yup.

the old stuff was damn good... but the new stuff with neil and john and jolie (sp) was fucking fantastic...i mean it was on another plane of existence...

I have to say Ryan and those 2 guys go together like nothing i've seen before... they really suit each other..

Also, Ryan walking down amongst the crowd was amazing... amazing... i need the soundboard NOW

ya, it's usually the old blues guys who do that eh? walk into the audience. I can't imagine. I'd prob faint if he walked by close. or get way too giggly or something.

It was Ryan with Neal and John, and JOlie Holland joined them for a few.

fiddle was jolie who i think was more or less improvising but nailing it and john graboff was on mandolin... the fiddle was pretty haunting...it was like a fourth voice at times... angelic

she was really great - seemed a bit nervous being up there at first but by the end it had all come together fantastically. hey, if i were her i'd totally do it.

First post here! He played solo for around an hour, then was joined by Neil, John and Jolie. He also played Two and Elisabeth, you were born..

He seemed to be enjoying himself!

OMG Jon on Mando..shit.. you guys over their I am so jealous ;). no but happy for you. I have stayed away from here because checking in makes me pine away and I'm trying to get my shit together on the homefront. well..heres hoping for a "secret gig" later on in NYC or upstate. :)

It was a grand piano in middle of room. He left the stage after a few songs and played one at the piano, then returned to stage. I don't know how any performer can do their thing with the audience so close. Lucky us, though.
