I'm sorry, you'll have to forgive my misspelling. I have some goofy friends and we kinda made up our own dialect. We sometimes spoonerize things (like Shel Silverstein in 'Runny Babbit') and sometimes we'll add an extra vowel or something to make a word sound weird. Reasons not to go to law school.
1. The Cost -- the loans add up really quickly and there isn't necessarily a payoff in the end. I went to a good school, finished very well in my class and well I am struggling to pay the loans cuz the jobs are that great. (This is why i prefaced my remarks above -- if you don't have to pay for it then i don't feel as bad about it. if you are going to a good cheap state school things again change... oi)

2. Being a Lawyer isn't as much fun as people build it up to be. I don't know what you want to do (or where you live or will practice which does weigh on it) but the law school recruiters and admissions people rank right down there with Zimmy and used car people. They tell you that you are gonna do great and if you finish in this part of the class you should be making X or have a good job.. all lies.

3. The summer studying for the bar was absolutly the worst experience I have ever had. (one friend didn't make it out of the summer alive)

I guess what I am saying is that there are a lot of varibles i don't know so i can't give a proper opinion -- But i can say this alot of my friends are in the same boat as I am, and have the same sentiments.

There is the National team and then there are also State teams that play for the ING cup amongst other things. I am pretty sure the state teams are funded by corporate sponsorship. I dont really follow the state stuff, just the international games.
